Terms Of Use
General information

Our methods of use:
You book a category that guarantees you certain vehicle characteristics (e.g. 5 person,  4 door). In each category there are several car models and makes, therefore it is not possible for us to guarantee you will receive a specific model.  Model, type of fuel and color will depend on the vehicles available in our office on the date of pick-up .  If we don't have a car category that you have reserved before we will upgrade the category for free.

Our rates includes:

  • CDW Casual damage waiver
  • Additional driver
  • Towing service costs inside Croatia.
  • Tax
Not included:
  • Fuel
  • Traffic fines
  • Parking fines
  • Towing service costs outside of Croatia .
Optional extras for additional costs:
  • SCDW (Full car insurance)
  • GPS unit
  • Child seat
  • Booster seat
  • Fuel refilling service (if the car is returned with less fuel in the tank than on pickup)

Airport service:

  1. Pickup
  2. We do not have a booking desk inside the airport. Our agent will wait for you outside the Arrivals Terminal in front of the Parking Stand. Our agent will assist you with the luggage and walk you to the car. Car return would be in front of Departure gate where our agent will wait for you according to  prior agreements. These services are immediate and without any extra cost for rentals over 3 days.
  3. Flight number would be required on reservation checkout page!

  2. Place of return and time will be agreed upon the time of pickup. You can change the car return location and time of return at any moment.

Car Delivery:

  • Hotel deliveries: 
  • We deliver cars to all hotels on the Makarska riviera for free. Omis riviera and Split are free of charge for over 3 days of rental!
  • The meeting point would be at the lobby in front of the reception desk on the time of reservation. Customers will get the information about the parking place from a receptionist and prepare the necessary documents - a driver's licence, passport or national ID and valid credit card unless otherwise agreed.

  • Apartments: 
  • We deliver cars to all apartments and holiday houses on the Makarska riviera for free. Omis riviera and Split  are free of charge for over 3 days of rental !
  • The meeting point would be at the given address. Customer will get the information about the parking place from their host and prepare the necessary documents - a driver's licence, passport or national ID and valid credit card unless otherwise  agreed.


Pick-up and drop-off in different places:
We offer the possibility of leaving the vehicle in a place which is not  the agreed pick-up place with prior notice.
This service is free of charge.
In certain cases it is possible to supplement. This depends on the number of days and the time of return, but only with prior approval.


Required documents:
  • Passport or Personal ID card
  • Driver’s licence
  • Valid credit card
In certain cases it is possible to rent a car without Credit cards but only by prior arrangement and with our prior consent. Otherwise,  use of the car  will not be possible.
Previous paid reservation will be refunded but reduced for one day of rental.
 
Drivers age required:
Minimum age is 21 and a valid two years driver's license is required.  Maximum age is 80 years.
In certain cases exemptions are possible but only by prior agreement and only with our prior consent.

Cancellation Policy:
There are no cancellation costs if the rental is cancelled 48h prior to pickup. 

Fuel Policy: FULL TO FULL
You will receive a full tank of fuel and will be required to return the same level of fuel. Otherwise, missing fuel would be charged together with a refilling service fee.
The customer will get a full tank of fuel and it is desirable to return a full tank when you return the vehicle. The missing fuel is charged at market price along with a service charge fee in the amount of 150 HRK ( € 20).


Outside of working hours:
No outside of working hours costs are charged between 07:00 - 00:00. Between 00:00 - 07:00,  outside of working hours costs are set at 35€.

Traffic and parking fines:
The customer of the car shall bear all the costs of traffic ticket fines and penalties included. It is recommended that the user alone covers the cost of traffic ticket fines and penalties.
Otherwise, we are obliged to forward customer information to the relevant departments (police, courts of justice, municipal communal services) at their request.


Car accident:

  • If the vehicle was in motion
  • Whether the customer is responsible or not responsible  for a car accident, the customer is obliged to report the damage to the nearest police station.
  • Obtain:
  • Alcohol test
  • Police report
  • Or correctly fill European car damage report form  located inside the folder with other car-related documents.

  • In accordance with state laws and our terms of service, the customer is required to inform us of any property damage or loss .
    In the absence of  necessary documentation, customer can be charged for the damage caused to the vehicle, objects and/or possible loss of vehicle.

  • If the car was at a parking lot:
  • Whether the customer is responsible or not responsible for damage that may have occurred to the rented vehicle,  the customer is obliged to report the damage and/or loss to the nearest police station.
  • Obtain:
    Police report
    Or correctly fill European car damage report form  located inside folder with other car-related documents in the case damage occurring via contact with another car
  • In accordance with state laws and our terms of service, the customer is required to inform us of any property damage or loss .
    In the absence of  necessary documentation, customer can be charged for the damage caused to the vehicle, objects and/or possible loss of vehicle.

Important:

You are not allowed to remove the car from a place of accident, no matter what the damage might be, before contacting us first.

Damage to the interior, glass and undercarriage:
Neither of the optional insurances (CDW and SCDW)  cover damage to the interior, windows and undercarriage of the rented car.

Lost documents:
In case of lost or non-returned documents upon returning the vehicle to a car rental representative, the customer will be charged for the time during which the documents are returned or new are made together with the administrative costs of said actions.

Theft:
Contact us immediately ! The customer is obligated to report all details regarding the disappearance or loss of a vehicle belonging to our car rental company to the nearest police station and provide documents, if available, for the vehicle.
Not fulfilling  the above conditions will result in the customer being charged for that loss and will be considered a subject of a possible legal action.
